How Gelco Products Fail - and How We Fix Them
- GV-36i and GV-42i gas inserts: pilot assembly carbon fouling. Denver’s altitude (5,280 feet) thins combustion air, so these units run slightly rich. The pilot orifice cakes with carbon every 18-30 months, causing intermittent lighting or flame-out during wind.
